Membership

Our organisation's power and ability to influence local community lays very much on the number of its members and their involvement in accept - LGBT Cyprus. As an organisation we engage in a range of activities aiming to educate, assist and empower not only our own members but also transfer our knowledge to the general community, local government, educators and other related bodies. Membership fees collected by Accept-LGBT Cyprus help us fund our activities.

We currently have 2 types of membership (Full and Associate) and we welcome memberships both from individuals as well as organisations.

DONATIONS: Why we need donations

We aim to promote the rights and interests of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans community of Cyprus while fighting preconceived stereotypes, stigmas and social outcasting.  

Since the first day of our existence as an organised group we not only found ourselves involved in educating Cypriot society about who we are and why our rights need to be respected, but we have also been actively involved with assisting our own members with every means possible.

We have a number of activities and each one of those needs financial support. From minor things like photocopying to financially supporting abused members of our community. We have so far primarily been supported by international organisations with various projects we had but we need to have our own funds too.
